Many have said that Harry Potter 6 (Half blood prince) is such a disappointment. But on the contrary. After watching it today, i feel its a great prequel to the final 7th movie. Now I can't wait!

Wearing the many hats of composer, educator, and conductor, Leong Yoon Pin is mainly known for his role as composer. His compositional output include two symphonies, the tone poems Blessing the Seas, Temasekian, and Episodes in Journey to the West, the opera Bunga Mawar, the concert overture Dayong Sampan, a piano concerto, choral and other many instrumental works. But perhaps Leong is best known for his choral works, many of which were locally commissioned and performed by both amateur and professional choirs. These include the popular Street Calls, Dragon Dance, Nostalgia, Here Comes the bride and Love Quatrains.

A Voyage of Songs International Choral Festival 2009 held in Penang, Malaysia as choirs from Australia, Malaysia, Taiwan, United Kingdom, China, Indonesia, Macau and The Phillipines come together in a great night of friendship and laughter amidst the competitions.

Finally bought an ODM watch for myself!
Have been yearning for one for a pretty long time.
I got the black one.
Then again... does it even look like a watch? ;)

The past few weeks have been nothing but choir rehearsals and piano practice and then more rehearsals. Thankfully some of my choirs have canceled practices due to the H1N1 outbreak. In some ways it has been a blessing in disguise- it gave me more time to rest and of course more time to work on other more urgent matters.

Preparing one of my choirs (Temasek Poly Choir) for their concert on the first week of August. Unfortunately time doesn't seem to be on our side, so I've increased practices. Most importantly, the wonderful kids are looking forward to it, and so am I!
