A visit to IKEA... again.
Wednesday, May 27, 2009
Wednesday, May 27, 2009

After my daily swim today I made a short trip to IKEA to have lunch. Their meat balls are simply Glorious man!

Glo and Jill were quite hilarious with their jokes and funny comments. Window shopping there was good. There's always little stuffs to buy and bring home at the end of the day.

IKEA is the place to go!

THE BLESSINGS OF MUSIC
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
Tuesday, May 19, 2009

Music is a gift that feels our heart each day
The blessings of music heal our souls each day
Music relieves the stress in our daily lives
Music is soothing to our ears
The blessings of music heal the sick and comfort the sick also
The blessings of music
Is powerful
It is wonderful to hear
When somebody is playing something for every one to listen
His giving you his gift of music to you and others
And to you also God
The blessings of music
Music is powerful
And has a great impact in everybody’s lives
The blessings of music
Music is universal
The blessings of music
You can hear the music being played from far away
Every song is special
Every song has a different meaning and different words

Ikea, Mom, and Orchard Glory
Saturday, May 16, 2009
Saturday, May 16, 2009

Weekend afternoons are usually reserved for family, so I accompanied mum to Ikea Tampines on a shopping spree. Bought loads of stuff for the house and I'm sure it'll look great after its done.

Late afternoon and night spent at Orchard with Gloria. We went shopping and shopping, and more shopping. And you wouldn't want to to know how much I spent- well lets just say its equivalent to buying a laptop. Hah... The many weeks and months of fashion obliviousity that I've had has finally did itself justice. Million thanks to Glo for selecting the best piece of the day! It just looks great on me man.

Lee joined us for dinner and then came over to get some stuffs. Talk about getting lost in colours man. I'm sure the 23rd will be dazzling.

I need to pack soon...

Freedom day with Lee
Friday, May 15, 2009
Friday, May 15, 2009

After final recital in the morning I spent the rest of the day with Lee drinking, hanging out, shopping and catching a movie. Now thats what I'm talking about- the life of freedom!

Then again freedom for many of us does not always define the freedom of action or movement- nor does it have any relation to fun and enjoyment- but more of the freedom of mind and body- usually from stress and worry. Today I feel like I have experienced that freedom.

My church choir prepared a sumptuous potluck in celebration of my unofficial graduation from NAFA- the food was great and the laughters were even better. Many thanks to those who prepared the food. It was glorious. Truly.

Now... The days ahead are only moments I am longing to cherish.

Finally found my accompanist for one of my choirs. Really delighted.

She's a nafa school mate and truly a great pianist.

Finally.
