My New Year’s Resolutions

How can I use the New Year
To lead a better and fruitful life?
I’ll find new ways to serve others;
I’ll love my neighbor, too.
I’ll focus on "give" instead of "get"
In everything I do.
I’ll forgive the people I’m mad at;
Angry feelings I’ll discard;
I’ll try to love my enemies,
Even though it’s hard.
In the new year, I’ll lift people up,
Instead of putting them down.
I’ll fill my heart with love and joy,
And never wear a frown.
I’ll let go of my worries;
I’ll put it all in His hands;
I’ll repent and try to sin less,
And obey all His commands.
These new year’s resolutions
Are difficult, at best,
But there’s something I can do each day
That will put my soul at rest:
I’ll love my Lord with all my heart,
With all my mind and soul,
And if I do that essential thing,
All the rest will be in control.

Went with Lee to orchard today to do some Christmas shopping and check out the on going events in the heart of our island.
Christmas at Orchard has never been more fantastic!

As part of the 25th anniversary of Christmas street-lightings in Singapore, STB and some other associations came out with a series of countless street side performances offering an extremely wide variety of shows from choral performances to dance, musicals, all sorts of buskers, and even ethic items such as Korean dance and singing groups from the Philippines! It was great to see the entire orchard road filled with people of all ages enjoying, appreciating and even participating in the shows.
Being engrossed in all the shows and performances led us to a late dinner at food republic. Can you believe one bowl of prawn noodles can cost $8.00?

And guess what... Lee bought me a Fred Perry polo for my Christmas present! Wooohoo!~

(p.s- guess who the other bag was for. hah ;))

Man...Thanks bro...
