My parents and sis have gone to japan for holiday for a week! (yes, without me)

They will be back this saturday. Looks like I have to do all the house work this week. =)

I'm going to Ikea tomorrow! Gonna surprise them with a mini house revamp!

Muahaha.

I am so tied up this week!!!

Sigh. I have to practice more.

I drew up a practice schedule plan for myself so I can stick to it. (hopefully)

I pray this works.

School work this semester is still manageable. But I can feel the work slowly piling up, and i have this strong feeling that second sem is waiting to suck my blood.

Balancing my life now. Finally. And now that ns will soon be just a memory, things are starting to settle in, more.

So much to do. Don't wanna talk about practicing. just repetitive amounts of black and white, black and white. seems never ending.

Can't wait to see all my friends in malaysia next month. Having birthday party and celebrations.

I finally completed my thesis on Choral emphasis in music education! (Instrumental and vocal teaching portfolio) yay man.

11,250 words. I spent around 1 and a half day (i.e 20 hours) doing it.

Today i presented to the class and Dr Lim said it was perfect! wooohoo..

The external guy from wales uni was sitting in. and he started talking to me about doing my postgraduate studies in choral music in the uk!

Unfortunately because of this portfolio i have to miss 2 days of piano practice.

omg. im so stressed.

have been so stressed with school work lately that my body is starting to 'break up'... slowly.

had a break out... quite a bad cole sore today. arhgz. almost ran a fever and im coughing and having runny nose for the past week.

arhgz. i need to learn to cope. i know i can.

today i was in the train on the way to school. as usual i had the corner seat.

u know, many funny things happen every single day.

today i overheard a young lady telling her other girlfriend about how she is cheating on someones boyfriend. it went something like...

"oh please you can't blame me for liking max. its not like i forced him to. anyway this cannot go out to the rest of them. if not they'll say i'm a bf snatching wh*re. its not my fault anyway"

this girl had the quackiest voice which really pierced through the entire carriage. so much for discretion.

well... i just continued listening to my music.... one eared.

i had choir rehearsals yesterday and today for FOUR HOURS each day can you believe it.

ok its a little less than 4 hours because dr goh released us early thankfully.

School days have been most stressful but fulfilling.

Its undoubtedly the best year- through and through- that i've had during my four year study at NAFA and i thank God for giving me such a blessing with great friends to share the days.

Its 7.35am in the morning and I AM BACK IN SCHOOL already. jeez. i feel so slpy.

have to practice and send a few e mails here and there. there's loads of changes happening in the next few months. i hope i can take whats coming for me.

i'm taking up 2 new choirs in october, having a christmas concert in december and in church, i'm conducting the midnight mass on christmas.

oh man...

all that jazz.

Today is the last day Melissa Janeo, one of my close friends will be in Singapore. She has been offered a job in Sydney and she took it. Before this she was working in Hong Kong and the Phils. How wonderful.

Although i don't show it much, it pains me to see her leave. I just... can't show it. I don't know how to. I think i will feel it much more after she leaves. Sigh.

Mel is a great singer who sings and leads in the Seraphim Choir. She's my alto sectional leader and has always been such a great friend to me. Its hard to find friends who are true to you these days. Very Hard.

I hope to visit her soon, together with all the rest... gwen, sheila, winnie etc etc. and for now, i hope she'll find her happiness and her place in that 'world' soon. i am sure she will...

The whole choir is going to miss her dearly. Especially me.

Played the Scriabin Etude at the masterclass by pianist Vladimir Schieder today. The entire piano department from year one to four was to attend the masterclass. It was both interesting and a little wierd at times as i learnt new things and found more of my voice and style of piano playing.

There were somethings which he suggested which were new and enriching and according to mrs phua it made the music sound much better, but there were other things which were plain wierd like how he asked me to sit 1 meter away from the piano to relax etc etc.

Monday is the deciding day.

Have been suffering rather empty days lately.

Just a little aimless and searching for something, just... something.

I hope I find it soon.

I just... have to.
