The Asean Youth Music Competition Heats were today. Mel and I were in the morning slot so had to wake up pretty early to warm up and all.. after that had a good lunch at the city link's asian kitchen. Crossing fingers we get into the finals! =)

had a really enjoyable evening with lau and the ladies during choir and celebrating his birthday!





went to meet suan and ying after that to discuss our concert stuffs.. and then had really good food and drinks at indochine... the two ladies look so pretty =)

work place is getting interesting. really starting to enjoy my work. i guess life in music is full of surprises! =)

this sunday are the heats for the AYM competition. just wanna wish mel, shawn, wice, felicia, yvonne and wayne (and of course me. haha) all the best! play well yea... (anyway i am sure you guys will!) =)

can't wait to finish learning the touches and 101. i have to... soon.

was sitting in the train today and saw a really shocking sight.. well, not really shocking, just kinda made me think.

i was sitting in the train when 2 couples walked into the train. one was a girl who looked around 19 or 20, the other was possibly her sister who looked about 14 to 15. or maybe even younger. she had nose rings and many piercings. the older girl was pushing a pram with a baby... and was playing with the baby.. the guy beside her, (possibly the husband) whose body was covered fully with tattoos of designs and animals, was talking to the other guy beside him..

then, i looked at the 14 year old girl, and i realised that her stomach was around 3 times the size of her butt. she was pregnant! very pregnant (6-7 months?) oh my god. everyone in the train was just staring at her. she was so petite and looked like she had barely started puberty. her boyfriend was with her.. and like her sister's boyfriend, his whole body was filled with tattoos.

now... im not gonna say what i feel..

... it just set me thinking...

Practiced Liszt and Scriabin until my right index finger bled today. the flesh sorta peeled out from a bit of the nail. it still hurts so much man.

then had a misunderstanding with my teacher because i thought there was no lesson and he thought there was lesson. and oh no. i feel really bad. =(

keeg and ryan are enlisting to serve this glorious nation tomorrow. the anxious looks on their faces today.. hah.. reminds me of when i first enlisted. well take care my bros! and ... have fun. hah..

my best friend is also enlisting this week! jeez.. why is everyone enlisting at the same time man. kinda starting to feel quite lonely out here. haha...

its 230 am in the morning and i just got home. i am exhausted and tired man.. rehearsals the whole day.. have been working from 830am to 11pm today. feeling really drained now. had a good supper and chat with a friend. tomorrows another busy day.

no words to explain how busy i've gotten over the past few weeks. sudden small things seem to appear so immensely important at this point of time and there seems to be a sense of urgency for almost every single task. dear God, where is my 48 hours a day...
