shopping... you know i just realised that im starting to use more and more stuffs from the body shop and more expensive stuffs just for the body...

body gel at 40 bucks, my facial wash cost me 80 bucks and face mask and moisturiser cost almost 150, not mentioning the body butter and exfoliating stuffs.. another 130.

ok now i feel happy

As for what i did on new years eve yesterday, morning and afternoon were spent at my grandmother's place for lunch and we simply sat there and mingled with the other relatives. going to grandmas place is always a tradition we do every new year eve.

in the evening it was pure family time when we had dinner together. although i was watching the very nice show on tv too (think its called somethings gotta give)

later at night keegan and wei yuan came over to my place for a pre-new years visit and we had so mch of fun man. took turns to play a few pieces on the piano and were laughing at stupid stuffs and funny memories. after that we had a game of mahjong which was totally entertaining. just shows how tables can turn 180 degrees just in one game. hahaha ;p both my bros left at around 145am in the morning!

still planning the prog for next sat's ballroom party. it shouldnt be a super formal one.. neither a super casual one. hah.. any suggestions?

yesterday i was sitting in the train on the way home. there were 2 primary school girls who were talking beside me. their conversation was kiddish but cute... until i heard something..

this was how their conversation went:

girl 1:
"eh you know ar yesterday valentines day hor, that 'xiao *something' (her name) went out with joel leh!"

girl 2:
"wah!! really ar, where they go? she very noti you know.. always go out with older boy."

girl 1:
"ya lor ya lor! she very noti that ming ming somemore say the boy go and KISS her on the lips leh!!!"

girl 2:
"... oh my god! is she PREGNANT?"

girl 1:
"i think so leh i heard they kiss very very long like got one hour until the next day her stomach turn big."



me:
" o_O!! "


...and the old lady beside me was laughing her arse off.

everyone seems to look so gloomy on Mondays.. ok with the exception of some who just simply look refreshed. well maybe most of them are still in the weekend mood! hah..

had to go down to orchard today with a few other bandmates to do our uniform fittings. initially we were kinda lost, but eventually found our way into tanglin shopping centre.

now, look how fast time flies and its gonna be the next chinese new year! i really feel as if the last one was just a day ago. haha... but oh wells, as long as im single i kinda look forward to it. you know why eh? coz theres red packets to receive duh.

havent dont ANY new year shopping yet. really wanna get some nice clothes but have no idea where to start. hopefully i'll be able to do some soon.

have invited my friends to come to my place on the 2nd day of the new year as my family is having a sorta open house! (erm suan and gang are you guys free? hah) and oh yes i am so looking forward to the many late night mahjong sessions with all my friends and relatives. =)) its only once in a year that i feel its wrong not to gamble for the sake of mingling. hah

these days i know i havent been contacting 'the rest of the world'. seems like i totally cut off myself from everyone since the year started. hope to get back some of my life again, i miss some of the times where i could just hang out and be free.. but well, life changes for the better sometimes.. and sometimes it takes unexpected turns which surprises you. =))

sundays are always like the busiest days cause of piano teaching and all.. met aileen for brunch in the morning before i went to teach. had a real good yoshin.

its amazing how some students can really drive you up the wall. hah... esp the ones who dont practice. my goodness.. hah. thankfully its only the rare few.

supposed to meet keeg in the evening but i unfortunately turned him down aGAIN for the duno how many time. so sorry man bro! next week i promise man. =)

well its back to work tomorrow again. arhh... can anyone imagine me carrying a trumpet? haha..

today basically went bad. i had a massive headache which lastest almost the entire day and at 4pm i couldnt take it i had to see the medical officer and was given a days rest. think its because i didnt sleep a lot the night before. just praying that the headache will go away asap.


p.s just got my new uniform yesterday. hows it? ;)

i'm feeling so happy now, and i'm wishing this will last forever. =))

going back to nafa today seems to bring back so many memories.. but the more i look at the school.. the more i feel that i should go over seas to study. hah. not trying to say that nafa sch is bad or whatever, infact the standard is quite good. just that a US or UK musical atmosphere would be much better to learn music.

i just received an e mail from a switzerland film maker a week ago. he heard one of my pieces CALL OF HAWAII on broadjam.com and asked if he could premiere my piece as part of his film in the Switzerland international film festival! I was so thrilled. royalties? we'll talk about it later. hah.. but yes i agreed. and will keep you guys updated on the outcome.

Life has been settling down. finally i'm adjusting to most of the things at work now and am coping well.

I can predict that organising my birthday party is going to be a lot of work! thank god for friends like ron, shao suan and ying to help out... and of course not forgetting my family. we'll see how all the plans go. right now everything is still kinda tentative. however can't wait to see all my nafa, hsc, jps, pf, tsc and musician friends! its been so long since i last saw many of them. =))

Have been pretty occupied with some stuffs now. happy me. hah
